A little background first on how we became new pet parents. A few years ago, when Covid suddenly took over our lives and the first lockdown began, my husband and I joined a community of animal lovers to help feed independent dogs on the streets. Finally, one of them agreed to the operation and we took him home, hoping that one day he would be able to walk and run like normal dogs.
