What a wonderful treasure! I just came back from a long day of walking with my dog after accidentally booking. Jim met us at the house and gave us a quick tour so we could choose the perfect place to suit our needs. The grounds are very clean and have a peaceful and remote feel. We ended up in the shade under one of the old oaks at the edge of the high meadow with a perfect sunset followed by a sunny sunrise. We are very happy with our book selection, we will be stopping here with the whole family on our next trip.
Good accommodation, the hosts were kind and welcoming. We greeted him and showed him around. They let us use their kayak in the morning which was great. We hope we can come back again!
This was a real gem and a great place to camp overnight! Wendy and her partner were wonderful hosts and the property was exactly what we needed. Beautiful places. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Everything we needed for our trip. I will be back whenever I’m in the area! I highly recommend stopping here if you’re passing through.
A warm welcome and great location. We camped by the lake and had no mosquitoes! We hope to return with the paddle boards and explore the lake.
