Head south into London and you’ll find yourself in the capital’s Assyrian Park. Here, in Crystal Palace Park, there is a 30-size dinosaur that was first discovered in 1854. Created by artist and natural historian Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins, these large sculptures were created using the most up-to-date scientific knowledge of the time. .

One of our favorite playgrounds is at Highgate Woods in North London. Packed with lots of fun activities for kids of all ages and surrounded by woodland, this local favorite is a local favourite. Other places for cycling and running are Coram Fields, Brockwell Park and Victoria Park.
If you want to give your urban offspring a taste of the countryside, you’re in luck, London has some great farms. Located mainly on the east side of the city, these inner-city farms have horses, cows, sheep, pigs and many other animals that can be seen on any farm in the countryside.
Mudchut Farm, a 32-acre verdant farm on the Isle of Dogs, has a working farm and nursery, barns for children and a range of educational activities. It is the largest urban farm in Europe and has over 100 animals, including llamas! For more information, visit: https://www.mudchute.org/.

One of my favorite things about living in North London is Hampstead Pool. Set in 790 acres of beautiful Hampstead Heath, there are three pools: a mixed pool, a men’s pool and a Kenwood ladies’ pool. People have been swimming here for decades and it hasn’t changed much over the years.

It’s hard to believe, I know, but sometimes London has nice weather. Not only is the weather beautiful, but it can also be hot in the city! It’s guaranteed that no one in the family will feel like they’re walking through a museum when the mercury rises.
Take a walk in one of London’s most beautiful parks. The Princess Diana Memorial Square in Kensington Gardens is a favorite place for young children. Next to the wooden pirate ship is a small playground where you can play for hours.
Another place my four-year-old loves to hang out is the fountains at Granar Square in King’s Cross. He’s not alone, on sunny summer days the square is full of families enjoying London’s closest beach.

In 1664, the Russian ambassador Tsar Karl II, a flock of pelicans. They were given a house in St. James’s Park, where they have lived with their descendants ever since. In 2013, Prague adopted the old defense of white oriental carpets when it decided that London really needed more carpets.
