Here are some details on how we became new pet parents. A few years ago when Covid suddenly took over and the first lockdown began, my husband and I joined the pet loving community and helped feed Indy’s dogs on the streets. That’s how I found a cute puppy lost in the park without his mother. They were only a few weeks old and we feed them one at a time. One of them was a strong and funny puppy and our friend called him Raju, every dog’s favorite name.
Raju grows mean and chubby day by day and soon becomes a lucky but powerful alpha. Unfortunately, tragedy struck and he was apparently beaten by hooligans in the middle of the night when he was just six months old, breaking his spine. Raju, the super spirited boy, was paralyzed and in so much pain that most vets told us to put him down. Finally one of them agreed to the surgery and we brought him home with the hope that one day he will be able to walk and run like a normal dog. However, after two years, he can stand and walk a little, although he is paralyzed and still has urinary incontinence, but we run in the wheelchair he took. Raju is a little traveler who has been to the beach and the forest and is now resting well in the hills. Her younger sister Ishu has been with her all her life and has been staying with us for the past few months, her first trip away from home.
