We enjoyed our stay at Seymour Barn and Classic Cottages, which is a converted old stone cottage. next to the owner’s hut Surrounded by green fields and situated on the edge of Bridport, our house is the perfect base from which to explore Dorset with our special guest Bertie the dachshund.

Both rooms were lit by velux windows and we enjoyed views of the fields and gardens surrounding the barn.

There was a welcome bag waiting for him. Along with towels, food bowls, extra bags and dog food, Bertie quickly noticed.
Dog-friendly walks are available from the front door. And there’s an outside hose that we can use to clean muddy feet after a walk on the beach. The Seymour Barn falls into that category. It is “dog friendly” which means the garden may not be fully fenced. So we have to keep an eye on mischievous Bertie and the balcony.
