Build sand castles on the shore, explore rock pools at low tide, or walk along the beach to find a hole. According to local folklore, Boggle Hole was home to a mischievous ghost that lived in the caves here, a legend supported by bootleggers who stored their wares at the same location. Today, with Bogle Hole designated as an SSSI due to the number of fossils found here, you are more likely to find fossils than the legends.
