Salem, Massachusetts is historic, educational and FUN! Salem has a fun, hockey side, but there are also many beautiful, historic places to see and things to do. It’s no wonder with the history of the Salem Witch Trials that they celebrate Halloween the entire month of October! Salem is very close to the harbor, so it also has a rich maritime history. It’s also a dog friendly city with lots of dog friendly outdoor dining options!

Somewhere to change. And where is the friendliest place for my dogs, the best kind, I mean, of course, than our neighbors in south Florida?

Some ridiculously sweet people let us crash at their house for a week, and it was just what the vet ordered: rest, relaxation, no travel plans – unlike what Mom usually does on vacation!
Florida is my speed, by the way: lots of places to run, no rules, no squirrels to tease me, no mailmen to guard the house – me and the sand (and well, a few thousand birds to scare).
We were there in the middle of November which can be cold for a few days. The morning was too cold and windy to be outside, we walked around the house and did what I love: sleep.

And sometimes a girl wants a drink. We found a great brewery that caters to my style: Grayton Brewing Co. The people who run it are skinny and the bonus: the beer is really good!
How do you know? Good. Even Mom said I was too young to have a liver test – I’m 52.5 dog years old! – Dad gave me his plaster of water (so obviously it’s my favorite parent). We loved it so much that we went back a second day to fill up on our potatoes on the go!
Rowing boats (I’ll let Mom and Dad borrow them) to come with us and spend the day on these calm waters. I think the water there might be calmer than my lake in Tennessee.
