The Inn at Mountain View Farm is a special place to stay in the heart of Northeast Vermont with their pet policy, dogs are allowed in select rooms for an additional $50 per night: Peacham, Danville, N. Danville, Maidstone and Lost Country. You can select the “pets” option to book your room online and the house is so pet friendly that a friendly golden retriever works at the front desk and there is even an animal shelter. Pay attention if your dog reacts to other animals!

We stayed in room 904, one of the larger rooms recommended for large dogs even with Roscoe it was comfortable, and the bathrooms are down the hall (although at least they are private). The inn’s quirky character may not be for everyone, but it’s in a great location within walking distance of town. The owner is very friendly and will readily recommend pet friendly restaurants and things to do in Burlington.
Located between Killington and Rutland in central Vermont, Mountain Top Resort doesn’t just allow dogs, they put dogs first.
