For dinner, most restaurants welcome pets when eating out. Irish Pub Leary’s Landing, Finback Ale House, and Cottage St. Pubs are well-known establishments that have Fido.
There is no doubt that Newport offers one of the best dog holidays in the country. Start with a 5.5 kilometer walk along the Cliff Walk with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Because of its proximity to the cliff, it’s best to keep your furry friend on a leash. Stop for lunch at Sardella Restaurant or O’Brien’s Pub, which offers a dog-friendly menu and water for everyone.

The historic Biltmore Estate allows dogs on leashes in designated outdoor areas, including the many beautiful gardens.
When you’re ready to eat, Wicked Weed Brewing, White Duck Taco Shop and Sunny Point Café are known for their delicious food and pet-friendly policies. There’s also a thriving wine scene in Asheville, with wineries like Addison Farms welcoming wine lovers and their dogs.
